The 2019 appointment with solar-powered boats, the Solar & Energy Boat Challenge, has just ended in the Principality of Monaco. 34 boats from all over the world competed from July 2 to 6, in the three classes Energy, Solar and Offshore. Many teams have equipped their boats with our panels in this edition, the highest number recorded so far. Once again we collaborated with TU Delft, whose performance placed it on the top of the podium in the Offshore class. Our support also went to the Italian team Blue Matrix, to Engineers of Innovation, Solar Boat Twente thanks to our partner Asseaboat, and Oceanos - NTUA, whose project was followed by our dealer in Greece, InterMarket A. & B. Rosakis.
The ENERGY OBSERVER project, of which we are partners, was also present at the event through an exhibition on the technologies on board the hydrogen vessel and its Odyssey for the Future.
A sixth edition that has fully achieved its goals: promoting clean energy in the nautical world, reaching an increasingly wider public and capturing the interest and enthusiasm of many young people.
