Plugboat 2013

Solbian confirms its presence at the 2013 edition of Plugboat which will be held in Nice on October 10th and 11th.

Plugboat is the first World Electric & Hybrid Boat Summit, its purpose is to become an high quality global platform to promote the exchange of opinions and the development of synergies between operators in the field of electric and hybrid boats. The Scientific Program Committee has compiled a very promising program, with more than 50 presentations and participants from 16 countries around the world. There are many events related to the field of hybrid and electric boats in the world, but none of these can include in one place the opportunity to learn from the experiences of others, present their work and results, find new partners to establish collaborations and create projects and join forces to influence the competent authorities in order to obtain the necessary support. Plugboat 2013 will be held in Nice, a strategic place for three pioneering countries in the field of clean mobility: France, Italy and Switzerland. The Congress Center, beating heart of Plugboat 2013, is located in front of the Mediterranean Sea, and just 200m from the Nice Yacht Club which, for this occasion, will become an excellent showcase for electric and hybrid boats. A dedicated jetty will also host an eBoat exhibition in order to enable participants to try out the boats. Among the events of Plugboat 2013 we want to remind you that, on October 10th at 5.30 pm dr. Marco Bianucci of ISMAR-CNR will take the floor as a speaker and talk about the case study of electric ferry boat for the Ligurian Natural Parks of Porto Venere and 5 Terre: an event not to be missed.
