Solbian sponsor of Gaetano Mura

New sponsorship for Solbian which provided its panels for a talented Italian navigator: Gaetano Mura. 

Gaetano Mura can boast numerous regattas both in the Mediterranean Sea and in the Ocean. In particular, in 2009 he partecipated in the Mini Transat, a single-handed race from La Rochelle in France to San Salvador in Brazil. Since 2012, with his Class 40 Bet 1128, the Sardinian navigator has reached important goals both in the Mediterranean Sea - as the Palermo Monte Carlo race and the Middle Sea Race - and in the Atlantic Ocean where he performed well at the Les Sables-Horta-Les Sables. Now his next goal is the legendary Jacques Vabre. Mura is the author of an important project that brings sailing, communication, culture and social commitment together. GIRONELMONDO is the name of this ambitious idea that does not end in a dense race schedule, but it becomes a way to spread the sailing culture among young people, to raise environmental awareness, to involve people with disabilities and invite artists to participate with their view on the sea and nature. Gaetano Mura chose Solbianflex panels for his Class 40 Bet 1128: two SP125 will be installed on the deck of the boat, providing a total power of 250 W and a daily production of 1250 Wh.
