The Coast Guard intervenes with a solar powered boat

The rescue of a man who fell into the Rimini canal harbour on August 19th, has been achieved thanks to an extrimely innovative boat: BarcOn.

BarcOn is an electric boat owned by the Ubisol Group and driven solely by Solbian solar panels. This is the first time that a means of this type is used during a rescue operation.
