Raft Power

Raft Power is a collaboration between Solbian Srl, Research and Development Division of Solbian Energie Alternative Srl, the company that since 2007 has placed on the market the innovative flexible photovoltaic modules for boating and the ARIMAR Inflatable division, a leading manufacturer of inflatable boats and life rafts.

Raft Power is designed to quickly provide energy to the batteries of the boat.

On the boats and specifically on the sailboats, the available space for photovoltaic panels, although walkable like SOLBIANFLEX, is always restricted. Raft Power is a system that solves this problem. Storing in a lightweight and compact bag and in less than 2 minutes with the electric inflator or 6 minutes with the foot inflator turns into a floating platform of about 4 square meters with a photovoltaic surface capable of delivering 400/500 Wp (33 / 41Ah maximum exposure to the sun).

Raft Power is composed of a Photovoltaic sheet (Solbian patent), which consists of 10 SOLBIANFLEX flexible modules connected together by strips of cloth and a supportive pneumatic part made by Arimar.

The flexible photovoltaic modules "SOLBIANFLEX" are made with monocrystalline cells with high efficiency and, thanks to the unique proprietary technology, are flexible, walkable, they weigh about 1/6 of traditional glass panels, and are particularly resistant to marine environments and aging .

Furthermore, if you want Raft Power can be realized with SOLBIANFLEX panels of SP series, which are made up from photovoltaic cells with the highest efficiency in the world (22.5%).
