Solbian has announced the acquisition of a brand new back-contact stringer, a fully automated solar cell stringer designed specifically to process Maxeon back-contact cells.

The advanced technology behind the back contact stringer allows for seamless integration of individual solar cells into a 'string' using interconnects, furthermore its automation technology enables the creation of precision-soldered cell strings through an induction soldering process. In addition to its cutting-edge soldering capabilities, the new stringing machine also features a string pick-and-place (PNP) option, providing unparalleled flexibility and adaptability to various production requirements and reducing the overall production time for Solbian.
