On Friday, February 23rd at 13.20′ 26″ UTC Giovanni Soldini and the Maserati Multi 70 crew have crossed the finish line, the Queen Elizabeth II bridge in London, breaking the Hong Kong-London record previously held by Gitana 13, in 36 days, 2 hours, 38 minutes and 2 seconds.
In view of this attempt the Maserati trimaran had been equipped with new custom solar panels other than the 8 SP 72 ALLinONE already installed, in order to further reduce the fuel onboard.
