The World Solar Challenge is recognized as the premier global event for solar cars.
The event will start in Darwin (Australia) on Sunday 6th October 2013 and travel the Stuart Highway for 3000 KMs to finish in Adelaide.

Several teams will participate at the competition by building cars that need to take full advantage of the sun's energy and can store only 10% of the energy received.
There are four different classes where participants can be entered. In the class more challenging, the challenger, there is only one stop: a camp in the desert.
